Damascus steel
“I just wanted to tell you how amazing your Damascus is. It is honestly the best material that I have ever worked with.”
My Damascus steel has been used on a veriety of projects such as knives, rings, axes, and wrist watch faces. I have had some billets ultrasonically tested, with results showing a homogenous piece.
The material used is 1084 and 15N20, and the billet will come normalized, ready for grinding or forging.
The price ranges from about $200-$1000 depending on the size and pattern.
Here is a short list of patterns we offer:
-Twist (An economical option that makes a more “random” pattern that I recommend for most applications)
-Ladder (Economical)
-Explosion (An expensive pattern that can be laid out in a mosaic, repeating across the length of a bar)
-'W' Pattern (Mid price range)
-Straight (Cheapest, good for forged projects where you want the grain to look like it’s flowing with the piece)
-Raindrop (Economical)
-Turkish Twist (Mid price range)
-And Many More
