These Titanium tongs are about half the weight of my standard steel tongs (which are on offer through the “Blacksmith Tools” page.) Even though there is a significant difference in weight, the strength of the tongs is comparable to the 4140 steel versions, and so these will last for generations if treated well. The tongs do have a couple of areas of imperfection (as highlighted by the photographs).

This style of tong was finally developed by Brain Brazeal to serve as the sole tongs used in the hammer making process. I use these tongs for many things, and under the power hammer all the time. These are really handy to have! Contact me for any questions, or check out the “FAQ” page.
